The lady lion xc team finished in the top 5 as a team at the September 11th Mustang Derby. 

Top performers for the team included freshman Purity Kemboi who took 14th in the 4k with a time of 15:31.7. Next was Naomi Kipkech with a time of 16:55.1 and Bibi Veld with a time of 17:53.

In the men's group, Daniel Mathenge earned 2nd place individually in the 6k with a time of 18:02.4, along with Henry Kibet who took 11th with a time of 19:42.7. Trey Scroggins also ran a solid time with a 20:11.1.
