The lady lion track and field team competed at Oklahoma University for the Sooner Invitational on May 2nd.

NCTC represented in two distance events at the meet- the 1500m and 800m open races. Competing in the 1500m for the lady lions included Purity Kemboi, who took sixth overall clocking a time of 5:01.32. In seventh with a 5:17.10 was Naomi Kipkeck, followed by by Amara Webb who finished 9th with a 5:47.54.

In the 800m, Webb also took eighth overall with a 2:45.70.
