The NCTC Women's Track & Field team competed at the John Jacobs Invitational hosted by the University of Oklahoma on April 10th.

In the 1500m, Purity Kemboi led the way with a 6th place finish, clocking a time of 4:57.71. Noami Kipkeck also competed in the event, placing 19th individually with a time of 5:21.53.

Kemboi continued her strong day in the 5000m, finishing 5th in 18:56.96. Kipkeck added an 18th place finish in the event with a time of 20:51.99.

In the 800m, Bibi van't Veld placed 19th recording a time of 2:31.37.

Overall, the team recorded several competitive marks across multiple events while competing against a deep field at the meet. The lady lions look to build on their performances as they continue the outdoor season.
