5 Players Tab All-Conference Honors the week before Tournament Play

Latrice Brown, a 5'10" Sophomore Middle hailing from Yoakum, Texas, snagged offensive player of the year for Region V this season. This is her second season starting for the team in the middle, and she started to compile points scored in her conference play. She ended the conference ranked #1 in points scored, and # 1 in kills. 


Kelsey Potter, a 5'8" a Sophomore Outside from Glen Rose, Texas has had quite the career at NCTC. She was a starter at the top of national stat boards in her freshman campaign, and continues to add to her accolades as a sophomore. She earned player of the week twice this season and was named second-team all conference. The sophomore is second defensively in the conference behind teammate Madison Lopez in the 6 rotation pin game, and is ranked second in the conference for triple-double performances. 

Madison Lopez, a 5'9" Captain Sophomore Outside / Libero from Aledo, Texas also has had a stand out year. She leads all of the outsides in total digs and digs/set, and was leading the conference at libero until making the move back to outside this season. She also, has tabbed player of the week honors and was named second-team all conference. 

Hannah Altman, a 5'9" Captain Sophomore Setter from Denton, Texas was also named to the second - team all conference. She is second in the conference for total assists, third in assists / set, third in points scored and ranked number one in the conference among setters for both digs and blocks. She is a two-year captain, who also tabbed player of the week honors this year. 

Kaleigh Conger, the lone freshman named to second-team all conference squad comes from Stephenville, TX where she was a state standout. She is quickly making a name for herself in region V and ended the conference season top 15 in Kills / Set, and hitting efficiency. She pushed into the top 10 for total Digs amongst other conference outsides, and finished 9th in triple doubles this year. 



The team returns to action this Friday, at the Region V North Tournament hosted at Texas Wesleyan University in Ft. Worth. The first match, will be vs 4th seeded Vernon at 10:00am.
